Report Comments
Users can create a comment set name and add comments under it and assign it to a BBC trend report, BBC executive trend report, collateral analysis- comparative reports this report types come under management reports in the cync application.
Only one comment set name can be assigned to three types of reports or to single type of report, this comments are reflected in management report. Application doesn't provide permission to the user to assign a comment set name for more than three reports for a particular portfolio manager or a client, however user can edit the created comment set name and added comments in the reports which belongs to the particular portfolio manager or a client.

Create Report Comment Set
To create the comment set name perform these steps:
1. Click the button. A Create Comment Set page appears.

2. In the Comment Set Name text box, enter the comment name.
3. Select the checkbox of the available reports to assign the comment set to the reports.
4. Click the button. The comment set gets created and a message "Comment Set was successfully created" appears.

If user enters duplicate comment set name in the Comment Set Name field while creating a new report comment set, an error message "Comment Set Name has already been taken" appears.

Edit Report Comment Set
Editing the created report comment set
You can edit or delete the created comment set name of a particular client and portfolio manager.
To edit the comment set name perform these steps:
1. Click Edit option on the below screen.

2. Edit the required fields or clear the checkbox of the reports to remove comment set to the reports.
3. Click the button. The report comments get saved and a message "Comment Set was successfully updated" appears.

Delete Report Comment Set
To delete the comment set name, perform these steps:
1. Click Delete option on the screen for the reports comment that you want to delete. A pop-up message “Are you sure?” appears.
2. Click OK. The Report Comment set is deleted and a success message “Comment Set was successfully deleted” appears.

Add New Note to the comment Set
To add the New Note to the created comment set, perform these steps:
1. Click the button to add new note under created comment set name. A pop-up window appears.

2. Click the button to add the comments.
3. Enter the comments.

4. Select the checkbox to make the comments visible in all management reports as well as the BBC Availability and the BBC Report.
5. In the BBC Date field, select the BBC date from the drop-down menu.
6. Click the button to save the comment note. The Comment Set Note has been successfully created and a message "Comment Set Note was successfully created" appears.

You can also edit, or delete the added comment note in the above screen.
Edit Comment Note
To edit the comment note, perform these steps:
1. Click the Edit option in the below screen.

3. Click the button to cancel the comment note editing process.
4. Click the button to save the edited comment note. The comment set note has been successfully updated and a message "Comment Set Note was successfully updated" appears.

Delete Comment Note
To delete the comment note, perform these steps:
1. Click Delete option in the below screen.

Users can click the button to close the above page.
When user log into the application, the session will be automatically active for 30 minutes. The session gets expire if user has not performed any action in Report Comments page for more than 30 minutes. If user clicks on any mouse pointer (either left or right) before expire pop-up window appears, the system extends the session automatically to be active for another 30 minutes.
If the session is idle for more than 25 minutes while adding, editing and deleting the report comments in Report Comments page, then the system shows the following pop-up screen.

Users may click the button to continue accessing the application.
Once the session is expired, the system shows the CYNC Login page in a pop-up window.

You can enter your valid credentials to continue accessing the Report Comments page.
